 The Chapter Recognition Awards offer AEE
chapters an opportunity to let the AEE network of energy professionals
know about the valuable work that is being done in their local areas.
The 2009 Chapter Recognition Awards, which were given to acknowledge
outstanding accomplishments in eight categories, was presented in Washington, D.C.
on November 3 in conjunction with the 32nd World Energy Engineering
Congress.

The Southern
African Association for Energy Efficiency (SAEE) annually recognizes the
outstanding accomplishments of individuals and companies in the energy
field through the SAEE Awards Program. The awards are a token to recognise
the commitment to their profession, desire to further the association's
mission, and participation in civic and community affairs. The following
awards were presented at the SAEE Annual Awards & Banquet.

The
Southern African Energy Efficiency Convention Awards
|

The SAEE hosted
the 4th Southern African Energy Efficiency Convention (SAEEC2009) as an
event serving the energy management-, environmental-, facilities building
upgrades-, energy engineering-, cogeneration-, power generation-, and
efficiency improvement industries.
The SAEEC2009
featured a convention agenda with seminars and exhibition on a variety of
current topics and a comprehensive overview of the "Energy
Efficiency @ Work".
This event was successfully presented on 12 - 13 November 2009, at Emperors Palace,
Johannesburg, Gauteng.
