The Energy Research Centre (ERC) at the University of Cape Town is one of South Africa’s leading institutions involved in energy research, employing about 25 people from a variety of backgrounds. The Energy Efficiency group at ERC pursues excellence in research in the field of energy efficiency and demand side management (DSM). In addition to this our group is an accredited Measurement and Verification (M&V) body for Eskom DSM projects.
The Energy Research Centre (ERC) invite applications for the following 3-year contract positions for immediate appointment. This would be an ideal opportunity for an engineer/technician with commercial or industrial experience, looking to work in the energy efficiency and M&V environment.
Applicants are to be engineering graduates, and are expected to possess analytical and report writing skills.
