Notice to postpone Awards Programme

The Board of the SAEE Confederation took a decision last year to reconsider its Awards programme both for the purpose of expanding its categories and with the intention to align with the Clean Energy Ministerial Awards as well as the AEE Awards. Where we have received awards for the Clean Energy Ministerial, we have entered these. We have also encouraged members to participate in the AEE Awards. 
 
While we have had a few entries submitted for the local awards, these have been too few to enter into a fair and competitive process. The Board has therefore established a subcommittee to reconsider the categories, criteria and timelines for its awards programme. In the event that there are entries aimed at reaching the deadline of the end of March 2018, we would like to ask those entrants to hold onto their entries until we issue the latest revision of the Awards programme. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused. The SAEE Confederation is still very committed to giving acknowledgement to good work in advancing Energy Efficiency and would like to undertake a more robust process in ensuring that excellence is duly recognised.
 
We therefore undertake to inform you in due course through a revised communication of the categories and criteria for our Energy Efficiency Awards which will be presented towards the end of 2018.
